Appreciate what we should appreciate :)
Assalamualaikum, hai hai everyone. Mira here. :)
Almost 3 weeks since the last time i posted here. Got some time to spent, few words to say, so yeahh. Here i am typing my keyboard for all of you. :)
Disclaimer: I am not an english expert. I just love the idea of reading and writing in english, do contact me if you want me to correct any of my grammatical error.
I think since a decade ago, our life has been so easy with social media. I dont know about other generations, but for my genertion, we start with, tagged, friendster, myspace, then we have facebook where all people can access to your account, we have instagram twitter and so many more. But i think since the past few years, social media not only give us positive effect, but we can get a lot of negative effect if we cannot browse moderately.
My post today would simply want to invite us all to appreciate what we should. First of all, let me explain first about why i am delighted to write about this today. I have been observing the trend and pattern of the people who have been using this social media, and to be honest, the youngster right now is worrying. Not just the youngster, everyone that is using social media sometimes is to absorb in the world of so call "fake world" that was created by us.
We have been putting a standard of life on what we saw online, and we tend to be very dissapointed whenever we cant get or achieve them. Standard on life, standard on life partner, standard on career that sometimes we forget what kind of world that we are living.
I do understand if any of us do inspire to watch any of the success story on socmed, but there is a thin line between admiring or obsessing over one thing. Inspire is when we admire on one thing, and we try our very best to achieve what we desire, by our hard work and hustle. But on the other line, obsessing is trying to have a shortcut to achieve what we desire. Putting a dream that most likely impossible but being so heartbroken when they cant get what they want. Worst case scenario, trying to do every single thing to get recognized, even the bad thing that we could ever imagine.
People nowadays love to idolize the people that they see on socmed, instafamous as example, or maybe any rich people showing off their richness on the gram. As example parents buying a brand new phone to their kids or lover doing a romantic surprise event for their partner. Then there will be a bunch of people tagging their partner or anybody "be like this please" "i want this" "why they can have this but i cant"

Guys, girls, we are never wrong to dream. Just dream. But never put your hope on other person. If we want something, work for it!! I am not being bitter. Seriously, i am genuinely feels like we should appreciate what we have right now, feel grateful and Allah will add more to our rezeki. There are some parent who can afford to treat pancake at 5 star hotel for breakfast but there are also some of them who can only cook lempeng for their kids. But why is that matter, the important thing is the parents is doing their very best to serve their kids the breakfast. See? *i am clearly not romanticising poverty
We have to, we should, we must be grateful and appreciate everything around us. Then our heart will be more at ease. Then we will have more smile and the feeling of saying "alhamdulillah" after everything is a bless you know. But again of course, after we have tried and done our very best to get the best. We plan but Allah always has the best plan.
So i guess my post today will end here. Thankyou for everybody reading till the very end of the dots. May Allah bless us all. Till we meet again, thankyou :)
